The Awaam Pakistan Election Commission (APEC) has announced the conduct of elections for the National Office Bearers of Awaam Pakistan as part of the party’s ongoing intra-party electoral process. The elections will be held through a secure digital voting system on the party’s official website, with nominations scheduled for April 1, 2026, and polling to take place from April 1 to April 2, 2026. Only duly elected members of the National General Council (NGC) will be eligible to contest and vote in the election.
The Awaam Pakistan Election Commission (APEC) hereby announces the conduct of elections for the National Office Bearers of Awaam Pakistan in accordance with the previously notified framework for the party’s intra-party elections.
The election process shall be conducted through a secure digital voting system hosted on the party’s official website (www.awaampakistan.org
). The system has been designed to ensure transparency, integrity, and confidentiality of the electoral process.
Elections shall be held for a total of twenty-five (25) positions, including the President, Secretary General, two (2) Additional Secretaries General, six (6) Vice Presidents, Secretary Information, Secretary Finance, Coordinator Overseas, and twelve (12) Joint Secretaries.
The Electoral College for the election of National Office Bearers shall consist of the two hundred (200) duly elected members of the National General Council (NGC). Each NGC member shall be entitled to cast one (1) vote for each position.
Only members of the National General Council (NGC) shall be eligible to contest the election. A candidate may contest for only one (1) office, and any party member who has not been elected to the National General Council shall not be eligible to contest for any National Office Bearer position.
Nominations for candidates will be received on April 1, 2026, from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM (PST). Polling for the National Office Bearers will commence on April 1, 2026, at 10:00 PM (PST) and conclude on April 2, 2026, at 04:00 PM (PST).
All election-related activities will take place through the “Elections” section of the party’s official website. The platform will allow members to access election information, view candidate details, cast their votes through a secure voting interface, and view the final results after the conclusion of polling. The election platform will be accessible through both web and mobile devices to facilitate maximum participation.
All election announcements, updates, and results will be communicated through the official website of Awaam Pakistan, official party WhatsApp groups, digital communication channels, and public notices issued by the party. Further details will be communicated in due course.
