The Election Commission of Awaam Pakistan has invited nominations for the election of National Office Bearers. Eligible members of the National General Council may submit their nominations on April 1, 2026, while voting for the positions will be conducted through the party’s digital system between April 1 and April 2, 2026.
The Election Commission of Awaam Pakistan has announced the opening of nominations for the election of National Office Bearers. Eligible members of the National General Council are invited to submit their nominations on April 1, 2026, between 08:00 and 17:00 PST.
Voting for the National Office Bearer positions will commence on April 1, 2026 at 22:00 PST and conclude on April 2, 2026 at 16:00 PST through the party’s designated digital voting system.
The following positions are open for election:
President
Secretary General
Two (2) Additional Secretaries General
Six (6) Vice Presidents
One (1) Secretary Information
One (1) Secretary Finance
One (1) Coordinator Overseas
Twelve (12) Joint Secretaries
The powers and functions of these positions are defined under Article 5 of the Awaam Pakistan Constitution, which is available on the party’s official website.
Only the two hundred (200) members of the National General Council, as notified on March 28, 2026, are eligible to contest and vote for these positions. The list of notified members is available on the party website.
National General Council members may contest for only one National Office Bearer position, and each voting member will be allowed one vote per position.
Accordingly, each National General Council member (voter) will cast one vote for each of the twenty-five (25) positions, amounting to a total of twenty-five votes per voter.
In the event of a tie between two or more candidates for the same position, the Election Commission will determine the successful candidate by applying the following criteria:
Ensuring gender balance within the composition of elected office bearers
Promoting equitable geographical representation across regions
